  • The Pelvic Workshop is a fun and informative  day exploring and learning about the changes that occur in our pelvis related to hormone changes and age.

These changes include - increased muscular pain, stiffness of joints, pelvic floor changes, congested lymphatics, prolapse, changes in the vagina and libido, and increased diagnosis of hip bursitis, gluteal tendon tears, arthritis and osteoporosis, uterine and ovarian issues.

The workshop is practical and interactive, so please wear something comfortable to move freely in.  On the mat we will be exploring -

    • Gentle hip, glute and core pilates exercises for strengthening and stabilising the hip joints and lower back - helping to delay or avoid degeneration and osteoporosis.
    • Learning how to tell if your hip flexors need stretching or strengthening
    • Stretching techniques - general muscle stretching  as well as dynamic and fascial stretching techniques for optimising fascial health, tight hip flexors, glutes and spinal stiffness.
    • Fascial release using our soft Yamuna balls - to release and relax the glutes, pelvic floor, hip flexors and stimulate pelvic lymphatic flow.
    • Beautiful Pelvic focussed meditation to end the day working on clearing emotional and physical blocks.

The workshop runs from 9am to 3pm and includes morning tea refreshments and a delicious and nourishing lunch.

This workshop is for women aged 40-70 years with an interest in learning techniques to better care for their body and mind.No previous experience or knowledge necessary.
